day after the death of Isaac Gálvez in Ghent velodrome during the dispute of the Six Days of the Flemish city, Dimitri de Fauw, Belgian cyclist whose negligence started the fatal fall of rider Spaniard, told a local newspaper :
"Everybody tells me that it was an accident, that I have no blame for the death of Isaac, but you start to imagine things that are not true and ask yourself: 'How can I overcome it?".
On Thursday, nearly three years after that fateful night in November, De Fauw hanged himself.
The rider, 28, suffered from depression. De Fauw was a specialist in testing six days in court and repeatedly proclaimed champion of Belgium in different specialties. Galvez and De Fauw
collided at breakneck speed in the velodrome in Ghent when they ran the specialty of madison.
Despite the efforts of doctors to revive him in full court, died while being taken to University Hospital in Ghent. Keiss Iljo
